Aurangabad town is elevated at a height of 212 meters above sea level and it has its coordinates at 28.50° North latitude and 77.96° East longitude. The town is bounded by Bhawan Bahadur Nagar Tehsil in the North, Bulandshahr Tehsil in the South, Syana Tehsil in the North and Jahangirabad Tehsil in the East. Aurangabad is sited at the border of its district Bulandshahr which makes the town much closer to its adjacent district Ghaziabad towards its West.
